The power of generational relationships.

When it comes to relationships

we tend to only think on the surface level. To be honest, we as a society hardly speak about THE POWER OF GENERATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS!!!

So what are generational relationships, anyway? Generational relationships are relationships that go beyond your timeline or was established before your timeline, such relationships started by your grandparents or started by your children. We get so lost in our relationships that we sometimes do not focus on building relationships for the next generation or learning from the previous generation.

I believe this is where we fall short in establishing long term relationships. Past relationships teach us what to do and not to do as well how past experiences molded a relationship to flourish or decay.

Future relationships help us to focus on long term growth and not on temporary comfort because it will allow us to pass down knowledge that can strengthen the next generation's relationships. There is no one right way to have a successful relationship, but knowledge from previous relationships can help mold current relationships to make future relationships better.
